MEE FINTECH Refund and Cancellation Policy covering service-fee disclosures, cancellations, refund requests, third-party provider charges, payment disputes and customer escalation.
1Purpose and scope
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the general approach for enquiries, consultation or advisory charges (if any), documentation or processing-support fees (if any), and payments made through MEE FINTECH or a third-party provider in connection with a requested service.
The business foundation document states that pricing depends on the product, lender, customer profile and service arrangement; it does not establish a universal fee schedule, refund percentage or fixed cancellation window. Therefore, any specific fee, refund condition or timeline must be disclosed to the customer before payment and confirmed in the applicable invoice, written quote, service order or agreement.
2Important distinction between MEE FINTECH fees and provider charges
MEE FINTECH may earn commissions, referral or processing-related income and, where applicable, advisory or service income associated with financial products. A bank, NBFC, insurer, mutual-fund-related entity, fixed-deposit issuer, payment gateway or other provider may separately charge fees, premiums, interest, taxes, penalties or other amounts under its own terms.
A payment made to a third-party provider is governed by that provider's rules and is not automatically refundable by MEE FINTECH. Before paying, confirm who is receiving the payment, what it covers, whether it is refundable, and which party is responsible for processing a refund.
3How fees must be disclosed
Before requesting payment for a service, MEE FINTECH should provide a clear description of the service, the total amount payable, applicable taxes, the recipient of the payment, what work is included, any conditions for cancellation or refund, and any non-refundable component with its basis.
No fee or deduction should be represented as applicable unless it has been disclosed and lawfully agreed. If the commercial terms for a particular service differ from this general Policy, the specific written terms should be provided before payment and must not override mandatory consumer rights.
4Customer cancellation request
If you wish to cancel a service, contact MEE FINTECH promptly using the verified official contact details shown on the website. Include your name, the service requested, transaction or receipt reference, payment date and a brief description of the cancellation request. Do not send card PINs, passwords or OTPs.
Cancellation becomes effective when acknowledged by MEE FINTECH or as otherwise stated in the applicable service agreement or law. Where work has not started, the treatment of any amount paid will depend on the disclosed terms and applicable law. Where work has started or a third-party application has been submitted, charges already incurred or work already completed may affect the amount refundable only where this was properly disclosed and is lawful.
5Cancellation before work begins
If a customer cancels before MEE FINTECH begins the agreed work, any refund will be assessed against the pre-disclosed cancellation terms, any payment-processing costs that may lawfully be retained, and applicable law. Where no specific terms were disclosed, MEE FINTECH should review the circumstances fairly rather than assume that the full payment is automatically forfeited.
Any refund decision should be recorded and communicated clearly, including the amount approved, any lawful deduction and the reason for the decision.
6Cancellation after work has started
Where the customer has authorised work and MEE FINTECH has begun the agreed service, the refund assessment may take account of the service actually performed, deliverables already supplied, costs reasonably and lawfully incurred, and the written terms agreed before payment.
An amount will not be treated as non-refundable merely because this Policy says so in general terms. Any non-refundable fee or deduction must be transparently disclosed in advance, proportionate to the relevant service and permitted by applicable law.
7Loan, MSME and CGTMSE applications
Loan approval, sanctioned amount, interest rate, collateral requirements, processing time and disbursement are determined by the relevant lender and depend on its assessment, policy, eligibility criteria and documentation. MEE FINTECH does not guarantee approval or disbursement.
If an application is declined, delayed, sanctioned for a different amount, or not disbursed, that fact alone does not determine whether a separate MEE FINTECH service fee is refundable. The result depends on the specific service promised, the work performed, the fee disclosure, the applicable agreement and law. Any lender processing fee or other lender charge is subject to the lender's own disclosed terms and refund rules.
8Insurance policies and premiums
Insurance proposal acceptance, policy issuance, cancellation, free-look periods, premium refunds, endorsements and claims are governed by the insurer's policy wording and applicable insurance law or regulatory requirements. Customers should contact the insurer through its official channel for policy-specific decisions.
Any amount paid as an insurance premium to an insurer is not automatically held by or refundable from MEE FINTECH. Where MEE FINTECH has separately charged an authorised and disclosed service fee, that fee must be assessed separately under the applicable agreement and law.
9Mutual funds, fixed deposits and other products
Transactions in mutual funds, fixed deposits or other financial products are subject to the product issuer's, asset manager's, intermediary's or provider's official terms, applicable risk disclosures and regulatory rules. Market movements, investment losses, product lock-ins, premature-withdrawal penalties or issuer-specific conditions do not automatically create a refund obligation for MEE FINTECH.
Customers should review official product documents and confirm the recipient of funds before making any investment or deposit. MEE FINTECH should not receive or hold customer investment funds unless it is legally authorised and the relevant arrangement has been properly disclosed.
10Payment gateway payments and duplicate transactions
If you believe a payment was duplicated, charged incorrectly or made for a service that was not ordered, notify MEE FINTECH and the payment provider promptly with the transaction reference, date and amount. Do not provide full card numbers, CVV, PIN or OTP.
We will review the records reasonably available and coordinate with the payment gateway or receiving provider where appropriate. A payment-gateway reversal, chargeback or settlement timeline is determined by the relevant payment provider, bank and applicable rules; MEE FINTECH cannot guarantee a specific processing time.
11Refund eligibility and exclusions
Refund eligibility is decided case by case under the disclosed service terms and applicable law. Relevant factors may include whether a payment was received, whether the service was delivered, whether a cancellation was timely, whether a duplicate or erroneous charge occurred, and whether a third-party provider controls the amount.
No exclusion in this Policy is intended to restrict statutory consumer remedies, rights relating to deficient service, fraud, unauthorised payments or other rights that cannot lawfully be waived. A customer may still use any complaint or dispute process available under applicable law.
12How to request a refund
Submit a written request through a verified official MEE FINTECH contact channel. Include the name used for the transaction, contact details, service or product involved, payment date, amount, transaction/receipt reference, reason for the request and relevant supporting evidence. Share only the minimum information needed and use a secure channel for any sensitive document.
MEE FINTECH may request additional information reasonably necessary to verify the transaction and prevent fraud. We will acknowledge the request through an available verified channel and communicate the outcome or any further information required.
13Review, decision and communication
Refund requests will be reviewed fairly, taking account of the payment record, agreed scope, service status, applicable terms, provider rules and legal requirements. If a request is rejected in whole or part, the customer should be told the reason and any relevant review or escalation route, to the extent practicable.
Any review target or service-level timeline must be set by the business and should not be stated as guaranteed until operationally approved. Statutory timelines and payment-provider rules, where applicable, will take precedence.
14Refund method and timing
Where a refund is approved, it should ordinarily be returned through the original payment method where feasible and permitted by the payment provider, unless another lawful method is agreed and verified. The time for the amount to appear in the customer's account may depend on the payment gateway, bank, card issuer or other financial institution.
MEE FINTECH should provide a transaction reference or confirmation where available. We cannot promise an exact credit date controlled by another institution.
15Taxes, deductions and partial refunds
Any tax adjustment, deduction, cancellation charge or partial refund must be supported by the applicable invoice, disclosed commercial terms and law. The customer should be told how the refund amount was calculated. MEE FINTECH will not invent a standard deduction where no approved fee schedule or lawful basis exists.
Where an invoice or tax document has been issued, the business should issue any required credit note or corrected document in accordance with applicable tax and accounting requirements.
16Chargebacks, payment disputes and suspected fraud
If you believe a transaction is unauthorised or fraudulent, contact your bank or payment provider immediately using its official channel and notify MEE FINTECH through a verified contact. Preserve transaction references and relevant communications.
Customers must not knowingly make false payment claims or submit fraudulent documents. MEE FINTECH may provide transaction records to a payment provider, bank, law-enforcement agency or competent authority where lawful and necessary to investigate a dispute or suspected fraud.
17Complaints and escalation
If you are dissatisfied with a refund decision, contact MEE FINTECH through the verified grievance channel published on the website and state the transaction reference, issue and outcome sought. The business foundation document does not specify a formal complaints email, postal address or designated grievance officer; these must be added before publication.
Nothing in this Policy prevents a customer from approaching a competent consumer forum, regulator, bank, insurer, payment provider or other authority where permitted by law.
18Third-party provider decisions
Where payment or the underlying financial product is handled by a bank, NBFC, insurer, investment entity, fixed-deposit issuer, payment gateway or other third party, that provider's valid terms and applicable law govern its charges and refunds. MEE FINTECH may assist with communication where appropriate but cannot bind a third party to a refund or outcome.
Customers should keep the provider's application number, policy or product document, invoice and payment receipt for their records.
19Changes to this Policy
MEE FINTECH may revise this Policy to reflect operational, commercial or legal changes. The current version should be published on the website with a revision date. A change will not remove rights that already accrued or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
20Contact details and acknowledgement
Use the verified contact details published on https://meefintech.com/ to submit a cancellation or refund request. The business foundation document identifies Hyderabad, Telangana, India as the business location but does not confirm the full postal address, official support email or formal grievance contact. Those details must be verified and inserted before launch.
By paying for a specific service, the customer should receive and review the applicable fee and cancellation terms before completing payment. This general Policy does not replace the transaction-specific disclosures or mandatory legal rights.
